Systems, stations, economy, colonisation sites — this database is shared by every commander using ED Companion. Search for a system to see what's there, no account required.
Built on the game's journal
Frontier already provides, locally, a detailed journal of everything that happens to you in-game — it's a real goldmine. ED Companion reads this journal event by event: every scan, every dock, every delivery is captured the moment it happens, reconstructing a full history rather than a single snapshot.
Stays light and private
The reader only follows the journal and sends the relevant events to your account — no screenshots, no access outside the game folder. It runs in the background, in the notification area, without changing anything about your playthrough.

The reader isn't signed by a Microsoft-recognized publisher yet, so SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" — that's a reputation warning, not a threat detection. Click More info, then Run anyway. A SHA-256 checksum is provided on your account page to verify the downloaded file's integrity.
